Back Vintage Six Pack
Our new six pack wine selection features some incredible bottles and back vintages in which we spent some time carefully deliberating down in our cellar to bring you a very well curated and special selection box for the avid wine lover.
Jurtschitsch Brut Nature 2016 needs no introduction. This 100% Grüner Veltliner from the Kamptal region in Austria is aged for 3+ years under lees, giving it an extreme dryness with citrus and grapefruit on the palette. An incredible celebratory bottle for this season.
The 'Pranzegg GT' has phenomenal floral notes, 100% Gewürztraminer aged in oak barrel with low production. Orange peach in the nose with soft tannins and a long and flavourful finish.
Les Horees - Aligoté - extraordinary new female winemaker who's resumé reads like a Burgundian dream. This delicate yet very self aware take on an indigenous grape varietal from Burgundy has been produced with the upmost respect. Vinified in two parts; one with 5 days skin contact, the other without. Blending after fermentation to give a beautiful floral nose, with lots of structure in the mouth. Crazy tropical fruits on the finish which lingers forever.
Can comfortably say that the 'Werlitsch Ex Vero II 2006' are the last of this vintage that exist in the world. Super expressive notes of passionfruit and pear on the nose with impeccable acidity and balance. A good dose of compact richness makes this 15 year old senior an incredibly expressive bottle to drink.
We've blown the dust off the Tschida Kapitel I 2015. A truly serious and interesting take on Cabernet Franc. Peppery, brambly fruit with so much dense, powerful character yet lightness and lift.
Coming out of the Mosel, Germany we have 'Trossen PurPur Purus 2018' to round out our box of 6. An elegant and well-balanced Pinot Noir and Dornfelder blend, the depth of character in this bottle is truly amazing.
