Crémant is a sparkling wine made using the same traditional methods of fermentation and bottle ageing than winemakers in Champagne do. Alas, this wine comes from the scenic sites of the Alsace and not Champagne. But don't be mistaken, its nuttiness and its creamy sparkling nature are equally as tasty. Made from Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Riesling and this vintage a little of Chardonnay as well, it is packed with rich stone fruits, light aromatics and earl grey like textures.
Its crunchy minerality recommends itself as the perfect aperitif before dinner or perhaps right at the end with dessert.
