Crémant de Loire 2015
One time we were having lunch in Saumur, looking for some Champagne but instead, the owner brought out a Crémant de Loire and said 'This is what you want, trust me.' That is the short version of how we fell in love with Jacques-Antoine's wines. You could also mention he has been famous Clos Rougeard cellar master for a while. But no need to add more clout since the wine speaks for itself.
No corners are cut and the wines spent at least 3 years on the lees during their second fermentation. Luscious notes of caramel and toasted nuts. Round and still fresh. A sparkling to celebrate every day.
