Klettgau Amphore 2017
by Markus Ruch
Markus Ruch is mostly known for his exceptional Pinot Noirs from Klettgau, Switzerland. But he also experiments with some skin contact Müller Thurgau that ferments and ages in Amphore. The 2017 vintage is drinking extremely well and is the perfect orange wine for those cold autumn days ahead. Lots of structure with notes of orange peel, ripe peach and gripping dusty tannins on the finish.
Ideally paired with cheese or rich meat dishes.
