Mon Blanc 2019
This is a blend of Gelber Muskateller, Weissburgunder, Riesling and Grüner Veltliner on the skins. All grapes come from the same plot in Langenlois, Austria, with the main wine being macerated together. A small amount of other batches that spend longer on the skins are added for the extra touch of spice. Lush notes of stone fruit and a touch of creaminess give this wine its characteristics.
Alwin & Stefanie Jurtschitch vinify various skin contact wines under the 'Discovery of the Langenlois' range. Always striving to express the terroir rather than the grape variety, they both do not look for overly funky and macerated orange wines but clean and approachable expressions with a high drinkability factor.
