Schilcher Frizzante NV
Delightfully bubbly, bone dry and strong fruit notes of wild strawberry and peaches. Blauer Wildbacher is a native variety only grown in Styria, Austria. Traditionally made into a wine called Schilcher, this is one of Franz's and Christine's interpretation of this wildly unknown variety. The wine spends only up to 12 hours on the skins developing a light red almost maroon colour and goes through a traditional method second fermentation in the bottle.
With its unusual palate and dry structures, this is the perfect sparkling wine for food. Pair it with anything spicy, mouth on fire hotness or barbequed meats and you will be amazed how it is giving your meal that extra touch.
