Wilde Karrotte 2019
Katrin Lautner is an up and coming winemaker that has been Markus Altenburger's cellar master for the last 2 years and this is her very first vintage. A Welschriesling, from a small plot on the Jungenberg in Burgenland, Austria. Macerated on the skins with half the wine going through semi-carbonic fermentation for that extra light touch freshness. Fragrant aromatics with notes of wildflowers and herbs finishing with subtle tannins. This wine is a great easy skin contact option for everyone wanting to explore unusual grape varieties and discover what all this talk about orange wine is about.
Very limited amount of wine made and we only have small quantities of this wine available.
